Hi, I’m Madelyn long, a dynamic graphic designer who brings
a human touch to my creative work. Gaining experience with local businesses, I have developed a keen understanding of the importance of community, which she incorporates into her work.
I am driven and commit to thoroughly grasp the unique requirements of each project. I have a vibrant energy, and a willingness to embrace new ideas and perspectives which I can seamlessly implement through graphic design.
Over the past years I have committed to challenging myself in graphic design. While studying in 2021, I completed a course with a local graphic designer and began designing for clients. The following year I continued work with clients while navigating through year 12 responsibilities as a student and school leader. In 2023 I completed an intensive design course at Shillington. This looked at optimising workflow through Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, and Figma. This course also helped hone the skills of transferring a deep understanding of a client’s specific needs into a purposeful and balanced design.
My experience with local business, while being
employed in hospitality and freelancing for clients, has taught me effective client communication. It also taught me the importance of valuing people and community in a business.
